Scripts: (Some I wrote and some are examples out of books I read, tutorials etc.)
- grab (A small shell script for taking a screenshot in linux. (requires import)
- calc (bash calculator, silly)
- tl (Perl script to export load average to the console title)
- 2lower (Renames files to lower case, pretty useless.)
- unzipalot (Unzips many zip files in the current directory to a folder of the same name as the zip)

Silly cut and pastes I use or I think are amusing:

#Get Memory (lol)

#Generate random number

# Grep lines with no comments or blank lines

grep -v ^# /etc/modprobe.conf | sed -e /^$/d

or

cat /etc/modprobe.conf | grep -v ^# | grep .

# replace all ^M's that need to have carriage returns in VI:

:%s/^M//

(BE SURE YOU MAKE the ^M TYPING "CTRL-V CTRL-M". NOT BY TYPING "CARROT 
M" or COPY PASTING)
